26. ISSUE 1 COVER PHOTO SHOOT

After booking the studio in college, I organised a photoshoot with Nadine, Kushi and myself as models.

The photos attatched are the ones that i have chosen to use in the magazine and website for now.

I used the studio for Issue 1 as i wanted a clean concept that helped readers easily see the type of people and content that this magazine could cater to - as well as being easy images to use on covers without covering cover-lines.

While taking these photos I thought about the mise-en-scene through naturalistic lighting, setting and costuming, making sure that the outfits worn by the models accurately depicts the people within the target audience with a wide range of styles to be relatable and realistic.

I played around with composition by using body language and props like chairs and phones and using a variety of camera angles like medium shots, medium close ups, big close ups and closeups to create interesting photos that are unique
